  • Judy Loon

    Senior Occupational Therapist
    Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) with Honours
    Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

    Judy has special interests in:
    • Sensory-based assessments and intervention for kids and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder
    • Assessments and intervention for complex diagnoses (intellectual disability, physical disability, Cerebral Palsy, Downs syndrome and other genetic/neurological disorders)
    • Paediatric occupational therapy interventions at home or in the classroom (play skills, self-care, fine motor and gross motor skills, behavioural support)
    • Supporting the development of independent living skills for adults with disability
    • Equipment prescription

    Thriving while away from work looks like: Drinking good coffee or eating ramen with her husband David, going on beach holidays with her family, doing craft projects (currently learning how to crochet!).

  • Fiona Jongsma

    Occupational Therapist

    Fiona has special interests in:
    • Working with children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities
    • Working with parents as partners in therapy
    • Collaborative transdisciplinary practice
    • Working with culturally and linguistically diverse families

    Thriving while away from work looks like: Going to the beach, hiking, rock climbing and painting.

  • Veronica Mak

    Occupational Therapist
    Master of Occupational Therapy 
    Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Psychology 

    Veronica has special interests in:
    • Working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disability, and other genetic or neurological conditions, as well as supporting their families
    • Providing interventions in sensory gym settings and community environments
    • Incorporating the DIRFloortime® approach (Basic DIRFloortime® Provider)
    • Supporting the development of independent living skills, such as toileting and meal preparation

    Thriving while away from work looks like: Going on walks with her husband Louis, spending time with her cat Darlington, exploring new hobbies, listening to music, watching TV shows or National Geographic documentaries.

    Flora has special interests in:
    • Working with neurodiverse children and their families
    • Working with clients with mental health challenges
    • Play-based therapy
    • Strength-based approach and interventions
